The Painting to the People collaborative painting process . . .
Step One
Fill out our online form to book your free discovery session. If we are available for the date of your event we’ll set up a Zoom to learn more about you, your event, and your preferences. We’ll walk you through our packages and enhancements.
Step Two
A 25% deposit is required to reserve your date. We’ll work closely with you to help you select the best photo to convert into your collaborative painting.
Step Three
Based on your preferences, we’ll provide several color schemes to choose from. Once you select the digital image you are absolutely in love with, you’ll sign a formal contract that includes the details of your event and your approved digital proof.
Step Four
Using our proprietary technique, we convert your approved digital proof into a color-coded, large-format, box frame Your color palette is custom mixed using archival liquid acrylic paints and loaded into German-engineered paint pens.
Step Five
It’s showtime! Our team arrives at your event and facilitates the collaborative painting process with your guests.
Step Six
After the event, we bring your painting back to our studio for all the finishing touches. You’ll receive your completed painting as outlined in the terms of your contract.

Custom color-mixing. We create your approved color palette using archival-grade Golden High-Flow Acrylics. Golden is the OG of acrylic paint—they pretty much invented it in the 1940s.
We’ve given the brush, the brush. Your custom-mixed colors are loaded into high-quality, German-engineered paint pens. If your guests can color - they can paint!
Interactive experience. Your guests are actively participating in the creation of your painting and experiencing the magic of watching it come to life. When they sign the back, voila! It’s a guest book!

We work closely with you through the entire process, from helping you choose a photo that is going give you the best result as a collaborate painting, to choosing a color scheme, custom-mixing your paint palette, converting your image to a color-coded canvas, facilitating the painting process during your event, ensuring all guest painters sign the back of your painting, touching up the final product back in our studio, and finishing with an archival spray varnish to ensure your custom work can be cherished for generations. Your guests have the opportunity to write a personal note to drop into the back of the painting—behind a locked door. We include the key with the painting delivery, or mail it to you for your one-year anniversary!
